The player profiles need a rethink. It would be good to get some fresh ideas.
My thoughts so far…
Name: ____ Nicknames: ____ Position: ____ Occupation: ____ General Info: A few sentences about what the person does, any interesting hobbies, how they came to be at the club. Hockey Highlight: ____
If we have player profiles people will have a glance if they are thinking about joining the club. We're a nice (and varied) bunch of guys so the general info and hockey highlights bit will make the club more attractive!

I asked about 50 times for input from people last time so yes you can make whatever profiles you want!
I'll send out an email asking everybody to provide what we need. We'll keep this thread going for a little bit first to see if we get any other ideas.
Good point about the in jokes.

Name: Scott Ratcliffe Nicknames: Scott Position: Centre Back (after migrating from Left Wing, Left Midfield, Left back and Right Back) Occupation: Technical Manager (Telephony) General Info: Scott has come out of hockey retirement with the hope of helping support the inaugural season of Rottenrow HC. He got married in early 2008 and lives in Milngavie. Other than hockey, he enjoys running (when he doesn't have any niggling injuries) and enjoys films, music (mostly house/dance music), comedy and good food. Scott's primary hobby is watching the heart and soul of Edinburgh - Heart of Midlothian FC.
Hockey Highlight: At school (Watson's) in 4th year winning the East of Scotland Plate. Beating Strathclyde in the Scottish Cup (11/10/08).

Name: Captain Ben Brewer Nicknames: Captain Ben Brewer Position: Striker Occupation: Claims Specialist (insurance)
General Info: Ben is the captain of Rottenrow in this, our historic first season. Works best in an Emile Heskey role making a nuisance of himself so that our midfielders can score all the goals. In his spare time Ben enjoys performing stand-up and drinking real ale.
Hockey Highlight: Whenever I get a new pair of shoes and I can play without stinky hockey shoes. This usually only lasts a couple of games however.

Are you saying you want us to get divorced?
Can I ask that people try and write about 3/4 lines for General Info. So all the profiles are about the same length (and tie in with the photo).

If you would like a sneak peek you can click here... rottenrowhc.weebly.com/coming-soon.htmlI'm putting them up as they appear here. I'll make it available properly when we have a few more. Any comments welcome. (I know Gus is missing a face, I'll sort it later).
